How to take a bath

We see showers as something you do quickly when you’ve got a busy day or night ahead of you. We see baths as calming, relaxing, soothing, and healing. Shower fanatics beware: try a few of our natural bath products and you may become a true bath lover after all!

Preparing Your Bath
Your bath time should be a time where you can reconnect with yourself while treating your body. Here are the steps:

Getting started:
Light a candle (without paraffin), then put on your favorite music. Have a cup of tea or small glass of water. Brush your teeth and rinse your mouth.

Fill the tub:
Fill with very warm, not hot, water. Choose your bath type: herbal, therapeutic, oil or salt. Your bath water should be richly scented with the essences of herbs or oils.

Anoint yourself:
Generously apply a body or massage oil to your entire body. You are now ready for immersion. For a special treat, try one of our Salt Scrubs.

Immersion:

Slowly step into and immerse yourself into the tub. The candlelight, music and aromas will fill you with dreams.

Relax and soak:
And nothing more.

Emerge from the tub:
After about 20 minutes when you’re ready to reenter the world, slowly step from the tub. Towel dry, then cover your entire body with your favorite moisture cream, lotion or oil. Spritz a little toner or aromatherapy mist.

After bath extras:
After your body-pampering bath, clean your teeth and moisten your lips.
